Feather Your Nest…..Summer Kids Class Schedule

Kid’s art and creativity classes are the foundation for art basics.  Objects are broken into shapes & presented with color and design in a format that is no fail!  Students will work on projects for submission to the Country Fair this fall.  Classes offered for all ages and skill levels.  Class is $8.00 per week.  Kid’s Art will remain to same time for those currently attending and will continue through the end of July.

Craft & Creativity Classes are offered for all ages. Samples will be on display at our Rockin’ Anniversary Bash on June 11th & 12th.                                                            
Classes are 1½ hours each with supplies included unless specified.                                                       
Classes begin June22nd.   Sign up early as class space is limited!

Beginning Sewing to make your own PILLOW CASE using fabric from Mom’s stash or from the nest.

BRING YOUR OWN TEE shirt, that is, to create the perfect piece of wearable art!   Fabulous color with new Tie Dye techniques for all ages.

KOOL AID DYING WOOL is a wonderful adventure in color theory.  Students will dye their own wool to be used for their PIN CUSHION or SACHET.

Supply list: Your Favorite colors of packaged Kool-Aid, glass jar with lid & band for each color, heavy rubber gloves

Wool will be used to create a wonderful WOOL PIN CUSHION.  All supplies included in class fee.          
Class fee for those that dye their wool will be $ 6.00

“A Girl is a Giggle Wrapped in Sunlight” BEGINNING EMBRODERY STITCHES and make a small pillow.  Learn the back stitch and French knot as you create the perfect design.  Class fee includes everything needed to create the project.

KALIEDESCOPES will be created from a Pringles can.  Children will design the wrap to cover the outside as they discover how they work!  Class fee includes everything needed to finish the project.  All Ages may attend.

Design your own TATOO’S!  Don’t cringe, MOM!  They wash off.  Kids will create their own design for tattoos.  Designs will be laid up on special paper to be picked up the following week. TOO MUCH FUN!   All ages may attend.

What can you do with a yo yo!  Not the kind you play with, fabric yo yo’s.  Learn to make a BASIC YO YO HAIR BOW You may use our Yo Yo make or purchase your own for hours of creative fun!
